Residents have started the clean up to fix the damage caused by the storm to both residential and business areas. Wind and lighting caused damages to trees, and culverts took damage from the extreme waters. Mudslides were another extreme issue CDOT was dealing with as they tried to evacuate residents to safer ground.
Road closures continue as damage is assets and debris are cleared form the road ways. Please use caution when traveling as road crews are still working on restoring power and some areas have not authorized to have traffic come through yet due to high water warnings.
If you need a place to stay while you fix up your home, book a stay with Bristlecone Lodge.
